How Does this Differ from Rigid 4000?
Rigid 10k is more than twice as stiff as Rigid 4000. While Rigid 4000 is a "balanced" rigid material, Rigid 10k is strictly for applications where stiffness and heat resistance are the absolute priority, even at the expense of impact resistance.
Can I Use this for End-Use Parts?
Yes, provided the parts are not subjected to high impact. Its 1% elongation means it is brittle; however, for static, high-load, or high-heat components, it is a superior choice for end-use industrial hardware.
What are the Tank Requirements for Form 4?
Due to the high glass content, we recommend using a dedicated Form 4 Resin Tank for Rigid 10k to avoid cross-contamination. Always shake the cartridge vigorously for at least 60 seconds before printing to ensure the glass particles are fully suspended.
