What is the Difference Between V1 and V2?
The V2 formulation is specifically optimized for the Form 4's LFD light engine. It offers significantly improved fracture toughness (resistance to crack propagation) and faster print speeds while maintaining the high stiffness users expect from Tough 2000.
Can I Use Tough 2000 V2 for Long-Term Outdoor Use?
While Tough 2000 is highly durable, it is an SLA resin and may experience some UV degradation over extended outdoor exposure. For parts requiring long-term UV stability, we recommend painting the parts with a UV-protective coating or exploring the Formlabs Grey Pro or Rigid libraries.
Is Post-Curing Required?
Yes. To reach the 50 MPa tensile strength and 2.4 GPa modulus, parts must be post-cured.
