Automated Precision Cleaning for Professional SLA Printing
The Form Wash V2 eliminates the manual labour and guesswork of rinsing 3D printed parts. By utilizing a high-performance magnetically coupled impeller, it agitates solvent to reach every internal channel and fine detail. Once the wash cycle is complete, the unit automatically raises your parts out of the solvent to air dry, preventing over-soaking and ensuring a perfect surface finish every time.
Key Features
-
3x More Agitation Power: A redesigned impeller system provides triple the agitation of the first-generation Form Wash, moving solvent more effectively to clean complex geometries and high-viscosity resins faster.
-
Universal Platform Compatibility: New adjustable mounts allow you to transition seamlessly between the Form 4, Form 3, and Form 2 build platforms. You can wash parts directly on the platform or in the included basket.
-
Smart Solvent Management: The V2 is more efficient, allowing you to wash up to 67% more parts (approximately 120 prints) before needing to replace your IPA, significantly lowering your long-term operating costs.
-
Flexible Solvent Volume: Tailor your solvent levels between 7 and 15 liters based on your typical part size, maximizing resource efficiency for smaller labs.
-
Validated Resin Presets: Simply select your material on the interface, and the Form Wash V2 will automatically apply the optimal validated wash time.
Compatibility
Compatible 3D Printers: Formlabs Form 2, Form 3, Form 3+, Form 4, Form 4B
FAQ
How is the V2 Different From the Original Form Wash?
The V2 is built for the higher throughput of the Form 4. It features a much stronger agitation system (3x the power), higher solvent efficiency, and adjustable forks that accommodate the wider Form 4 build platforms which the V1 cannot.
Does it Automatically Dry My Parts?
While it doesn't use heat to dry, it automatically lifts the parts out of the solvent once the timer is up. This is a critical feature that prevents the parts from sitting in IPA too long, which can cause warping or surface degradation.
