CarbonX® PEKK-A+CF15 is a high-performance 3D printing filament engineered from a 60/40 PEKK (PolyEtherKetoneKetone) copolymer combined with aerospace-grade chopped carbon fiber sourced from Toray® T-800. This advanced formulation delivers exceptional mechanical strength, thermal stability, and chemical resistance - making it one of the top-performing polymer composites available for additive manufacturing.
As a standout member of the PAEK family, PEKK offers outstanding durability and high-temperature capability while being significantly easier to print than PEEK. The inclusion of premium Toray® carbon fiber reinforcement further enhances stiffness and dimensional stability, making this material ideal for demanding applications in aerospace, automotive, and industrial sectors.
Compared to PEEK, CarbonX® PEKK-A features a lower melt temperature and reduced crystallinity, which contribute to improved printability without compromising performance in extreme environments.
